Mattie Lee Jones, Ph.D., for over 20 years, Dr. Jones has been involved in the education of countless Indianapolis children, including work as a teacher and a school administrator (e.g. principal). Her work as a University Professor has afforded her the opportunity to develop programs involving child development, early childhood education, and teacher preparation. 

Dr. Jones earned a Teaching degree from the University of Indianapolis; a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana; and a Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Education from Indiana State University, Terra Haute, Indiana, Specialized Trainings & Several Certifications in Early Childhood Education.

She is an active member of organizations that support the social. emotional and cognitive development of children and serves as a child outcomes consultant.

She serves as Vice President on the Indianapolis division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (INAEYC) Executive Board, a member of the Early Childhood Education Advisory Board. Active memberships include; Child Development Associate-Professional Development Specialist (CDA), The Indiana Association for the Education of Young Child (INAEYC), The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
